2011

For the past three years that I’ve been collecting Starbucks stickers to get their planner, I’ve only really used my planner for last year. The past two (the one with the coffee design and the leather-ish brown one with the pencil) that I got were both abandoned as early as February. My maroon/red velvet planner for 2011 was not even used as a planner, but as a journal.
I write about my day in bullets, clauses, and phrases. On some days, I write even the little things like where my family ate for dinner or how my morning was. I also include inside jokes and songs that remind me of that certain day. Of course, I also write the important events that I want to remember. I left some weeks blank too, like the pages for summer. I doubt I need to remember every single day of that season. Overall, I wrote on my journal to remember the significant events of the year—the events that really happened and the plans that actually pushed through.
I’m trying to do the same thing this year too, with my Moonleaf planner. Hopefully it works out again, though I’ve been busier than ever. We’ll see. :)
